Underwater Creatures #1 anglerfish, screenprint. This is the largest single image I have every printed, a full 30x60. I layered two prints to make this one. The "esca" the little green light thingie, is overprinted with gloss.
Underwater Creatures #2 HatchetFIsh and Viperfish. VIperfish use red bioluminesce!

Orca Skeleton onmica powder pour background. I plan to work on this one, early pieces don't have all the elements of a true SPACE WHALE drawing.
Sperm whales and xrays my wife helped me do the acrylic and mica powder pour, as a date way back in 2020.
Over the Priarie. acrylic marker. I used the idea of the sleeping whales and suspended them over the endless fields of grass.
This sperm whale was an experiment in colors, ink and watercolor.

The manatee dream. made in 2025, this mini-series was a class project. I love the dreamy colors and drifting feeling. do you see the woman?
The Mola Dream, same inks, bleach and resist. That they all started with M was a consicidence.
Migaloo Moon, marker. 2024
Grey Whale Moon. watercolor, ink, metal leaf, 2022, this is on of my largest artworks. I was blind with cataracts when I made this, resulting in the deep yellow tone that I couldn't see.
my take on a Bake-Kujira, a Japanese spirit whale. Screen print
the red version of the Bake-Kujira. I did five different colors, with different backgrounds. Iterations!
I love the way whale ribs and spines look, this diving blue whale skeleton showcases the interlocking bones as it plunges downwards.

Whale fall, a comic, 2025
Pilot whales, comic, 2025. Pilot whales sometimes mass strand on a beach. I'd like to think they stay together afterwards, heading the restless souls in large joyous pods.
grand tour 1. A whales spirit lifts from it's bones, unobserved in our world. It revels in the freedom, swimming a tour of the solar system. a rare break before it has to return to earth and fulfill a whale's purpose. acrylic marker, 2025
The End. 2026 comic, watercolor and ink. The whale escorts a human soul to the universes final end, a black hole. Sperm whales stand silent seninals as the future is embraced.
